Grade 8 Students who live in the Colonel By boundary area:

Students who reside with his/her guardian in the Colonel By boundary area are automatically eligible to attend Colonel By Secondary School, assuming clearance of OCDSB and Colonel By admissions’ policies. In early Spring each year, Grade 8 students in OCDSB schools go through a process whereby they receive detailed information about transitioning to high school and their options for Grade 9. This is called the Option Sheet process and is overseen by the local elementary school. At that time, students will be directed to the community high school within their residential area.
